Source Water Assessment Results for Public Water Systems Using Surface Water
For Public Water Systems Using Surface Water:
To view the Updated Source Water Assessment, original Source Water Assessment, summary report (2-page version of the Original SWA) or additional information click the link in the table below.
For watersheds with more than one intake, Oregon completed the original source water assessments by segment and each Source Water Assessment represents the area from the public water systems intake to the next intake upstream. All protection areas for intakes upstream of a water systems intake are included in its drinking water source area. Activities and impacts in the source area for upstream water users also have the potential to impact downstream water users. We encourage the water providers and communities within each watershed to work together as you move forward with developing strategies or a protection plan.
Information for individual public water systems including the contact person is available from the link in the 'PWS No.' column (below) or at the Oregon Health Authority Drinking Water Services website (see 'Drinking Water Data Online;).
Source water assessment information is also available in DEQ's interactive map viewer.
